Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Design and implement security controls for containerized applications and orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes, OpenShift).
Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for container environments.
Integrate security tools into CI/CD pipelines to enforce container image scanning and policy compliance.
Monitor container runtime environments for anomalous behavior and potential threats.
Collaborate with DevOps, Cloud, and Security teams to ensure secure container lifecycle management.
Conduct vulnerability assessments and remediation of container images and registries.
Develop and maintain security baselines and hardening guidelines for container platforms.

Required Skills & Experience:

Strong understanding of container technologies: Docker, Podman, Kubernetes, Helm.
Experience with container security tools: Aqua Security, Prisma Cloud, Sysdig, Anchore, Trivy, etc.
Familiarity with Kubernetes RBAC, Network Policies, Secrets Management, and Pod Security Standards.
Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their container services (EKS, AKS, GKE).
Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, Go) for automation and tooling.
Understanding of DevSecOps principles and CI/CD integration (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
Experience with vulnerability management and compliance frameworks (CIS Benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001).

Preferred Certifications:

Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS)
Docker Certified Associate
AWS Certified Security Specialty / Azure Security Engineer Associate
GIAC Cloud Security Automation (GCSA)
Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

Soft Skills:

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to work in fast-paced, cross-functional environments.
