DevOps/Infrastructure Engineer

As a highly experienced and technically proficient Senior DevOps Engineer at our company, you will play a crucial role in driving our DevOps initiatives to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our infrastructure and applications. Your responsibilities will include: - Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior DevOps engineers - Mentoring team members on best practices and emerging technologies - Leading complex projects from inception to completion Additionally, you will contribute to the development and execution of the overall DevOps strategy, design and implement scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure architectures, and evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies. Your role will involve designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible, optimizing infrastructure for performance and cost-efficiency, and developing and enforcing IaC standards and best practices. You will lead the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps, implement advanced CI/CD techniques, and optimize pipelines for speed and reliability. Managing and automating system configurations, developing and maintaining configuration management policies and standards, and ensuring compliance with security and regulatory requirements will also be part of your responsibilities. Furthermore, you will lead the implementation and management of containerized applications using Docker, design and manage Kubernetes clusters, troubleshoot and resolve complex containerization and orchestration issues, and design and implement comprehensive monitoring and logging solutions. To qualify for this role, you should have: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field - 5+ years of experience in a DevOps or related role - Proven experience leading complex projects and mentoring junior engineers Skills required include expert understanding of DevOps principles and practices, proficiency with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby, deep understanding of containerization and orchestration technologies, expertise with CI/CD tools, extensive experience with monitoring and logging tools, strong understanding of networking and security principles, and excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Bonus points for experience with automated testing frameworks and relevant certifications in AWS, Azure, or Kubernetes.
