DevOps Technical Lead / Architect

Role Overview: As a Tech Lead/Architect specializing in AWS DevOps, your main responsibility is to lead a team of DevOps engineers and steer the technical direction for cloud infrastructure. Your tasks include developing and maintaining a robust cloud architecture on AWS, setting up CI/CD pipelines, managing monitoring solutions, optimizing system performance, ensuring compliance and security, and acting as the Single Point of Contact for Human Resources. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise a team of DevOps engineers, offering mentorship, guidance, and conducting performance evaluations. - Define and drive the technical vision for cloud infrastructure, ensuring it aligns with business objectives and follows industry best practices. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals. - Create and maintain a comprehensive cloud architecture on AWS, with a focus on security, scalability, and cost-efficiency best practices. - Supervise the configuration and management processes. - Design, deploy, and manage CI/CD pipelines utilizing tools like Harness to automate deployment processes efficiently. - Maintain high availability and reliability of deployment pipelines and production environments. - Implement and oversee monitoring solutions using Data dog and AWS Cloud Watch to monitor system health and performance. - Lead incident response activities, ensuring quick resolution and minimal downtime for critical systems. - Perform regular performance tuning, capacity planning, and infrastructure resource optimization. - Proactively identify and address potential bottlenecks and issues in the cloud architecture. - Ensure compliance with industry regulations and security best practices by implementing security measures across all cloud environments. - Conduct routine security audits and risk assessments, applying necessary remediation strategies. Qualifications Required: - 10 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Architecture, or related technical leadership roles. - Demonstrated expertise with AWS services, especially AWS EKS, in a production environment. - Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Harness. - Proficient in provisioning AWS resources using Terraform or Cloud Formation. - Strong familiarity with monitoring solutions such as Data dog and AWS Cloud Watch. - Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities. - Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills to explain complex technical concepts. - Hands-on experience in DevOps Technical Skills. - Ability to lead a team, delegate tasks, and effectively guide team members. - Capability to handle unforeseen situations and resource constraints. - Proficiency in defining strategies and roadmaps for DevOps. - Up-to-date with industry tools and technologies. - Ability to assess tools and make decisions based on specific scenarios.,
