DevOps Support Engineer

You will be part of the RunOps Support Engineers team within the Platform and Infra department at micro1, where you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of a large-scale distributed infrastructure. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring uptime, managing deployments, and troubleshooting production issues across various cloud-native services, with a specific focus on AWS, Kubernetes, Databricks, GitLab, and Flask REST APIs. Your key responsibilities will involve monitoring and maintaining platform infrastructure to ensure high availability and performance. You will also be involved in supporting and automating CI/CD processes through GitLab pipelines, collaborating with engineering and SRE teams to address incidents and perform root cause analysis, managing Kubernetes clusters and container lifecycle, as well as supporting and debugging Flask REST APIs and backend systems in a production environment. Additionally, you will contribute to creating runbooks and operational documentation and participate in on-call rotations and production issue triage. To excel in this role, you should possess proficiency in AWS services with hands-on production support experience, a strong understanding of Kubernetes operations and container lifecycle, experience working with Databricks in a production environment, familiarity with GitLab CI/CD pipelines and version control practices, expertise in supporting Flask REST APIs, and solid troubleshooting, monitoring, and alerting skills.
