Devops Lead

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Lead with strong Azure expertise to manage our cloud operations team and drive DevOps initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will combine technical proficiency with leadership skills to guide implementation of best practices, mentor team members, and ensure efficient, reliable cloud infrastructure and deployment processes. Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS & GCP would be advantageous. Key Responsibilities Lead a team of DevOps engineers in implementing and maintaining Azure cloud infrastructure Establish and enforce DevOps best practices, methodologies, and standards Oversee the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions Write & manage infrastructure as code implementations using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep Coordinate cloud migration efforts and architectural improvements Guide implementation of monitoring, logging, and observability solutions Serve as the escalation point for complex technical issues and production incidents Collaborate with development teams & architects to improve deployment processes and application reliability Manage resource allocation and cloud cost optimization initiatives Report on key metrics and provide recommendations Required Qualifications 6+ years of hands-on experience with Azure services and infrastructure management Strong technical background in CI/CD implementation, infrastructure automation, and containerization Strong proficiency with infrastructure as code using ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep and configuration management tools Experience deploying and managing containerized applications with Docker and AKS Working knowledge of scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python) Hands-on experience with Azure networking, storage, and compute resources Familiarity with monitoring tools and implementing alerting mechanisms Experience troubleshooting infrastructure and application issues in cloud environments Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex technical challenges Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts to various stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Azure certifications (Azure Administrator, DevOps Engineer) Experience with Kubernetes, AKS Orchestration, Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and other PaaS offerings Knowledge of database management in Azure (SQL, Cosmos DB) Experience with source control management using ADO, Git.
