Job Description

Manage and optimize Six or more Kubernetes environments, including:
o Service creation and deployment.o Performance monitoring and troubleshooting.o Upgrading Kubernetes clusters and applications.- Administer the CI/CD pipeline using Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools:o Create and maintain build and deploy jobs.o Monitor pipelines for errors and ensure smooth operation.- Oversee artifacts and container lifecycle management by:o Ensuring smooth operation of Artifactory Manager and Docker Registry.o Optimizing performance of container image storage and retrieval.https://www.wavity.com/- Manage Kubernetes version control and product upgrades:o Plan and execute upgrades to Kubernetes and application versions.o Provide troubleshooting support for upgrade-related issues.- Conduct Proof of Concepts (POCs) for new services and tools:o Evaluate new technologies for potential integration.o Integrate approved solutions into existing Kubernetes environments, assessing theirimpact on performance and stability.- Perform continuous monitoring of infrastructure and application logs:o Proactively monitor various metrics and telemetry data to identify trends and potentialissues.o Draw conclusions from monitoring data and make recommendations for improvements.o Proactively scale resources and implement fixes to prevent downtime or performancedegradation.o Respond promptly to incident management alerts.
