DevOps Engineer

You will join the Platform/DevOps team to build and run the pipelines, infrastructure, and tooling that ship the company's products. The first 3 months will be a hands-on internship focused on learning and making an impact, with strong performance leading to a full-time DevOps Engineer offer. - Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab/Jenkins) for automated build, test, and deploy. - Containerize apps with Docker and manage services on Kubernetes (or ECS/EKS/AKS). - Write Infrastructure as Code using Terraform (or CloudFormation) for reproducible environments. - Implement observability: metrics, logs, traces (Prometheus/Grafana/ELK/CloudWatch). - Harden pipelines with security scans (SAST/DAST; e.g., Trivy) and basic secrets management. - Automate routine ops with Bash/Python; improve developer experience and environment reliability. - Assist with releases, environment provisioning, and incident response under guidance. - Document runbooks, dashboards, and standards. **Qualification Required:** - Solid understanding of Linux, networking basics (HTTP, DNS, load balancing), and Git. - Familiarity with at least one cloud (AWS/Azure/GCP) and one CI tool. - Basics of Docker and Kubernetes (pods, services, deployments). - Scripting experience (Bash or Python) for automation. - Clear communication, ownership mindset, and willingness to learn fast. **Nice to have:** - Terraform modules, Helm charts, or kustomize. - Monitoring/alerting experience (Prometheus/Alertmanager, Grafana, ELK). - Secrets management (Vault/Parameter Store), IAM fundamentals. - Experience with testing in pipelines and artifact registries. - Exposure to cost monitoring or FinOps basics.,
