Devops Engineer Workload Automation HCL Software is a division of HCL Technologies (HCL) that operates its primary software business. At HCL Software we develop, market, sell and support over 20 product families in the areas of Customer Experience, Digital Solutions, Secure DevOps, Security & Automation. About the Product (HCL Workload Automation):- HCL Workload Automation is a complete, modern solution for batch and real-time workload management. It enables organizations to gain complete visibility and control over attended or unattended workloads. Offering a single point of control with dedicated interfaces to application developers, IT administrators, and operators, it provides both autonomy and precise governance, while managing business critical workloads that span hybrid environments and resources. Primary Skills : Build & Devops Shell/Bash scripting, Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, CI/CD process, core Java, React JS, etc. Job Description: 1. Excellent understanding of at least any of the programming language Python, Perl, React and Java 2. Good understanding and hands on experience in Shell/Bash scripting 3. Experience with Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipelines 4. Experience in Maven, Github and Git workflows 5. Should be able to develop & execute overall strategy for Build & Release management 6. Experience in working with container orchestration tools such as Dockers and Kubernetes 7. Good knowledge in Devops Automation Tools like Chef, Ansible, Terraform, etc 8. Knowledge in Tools like SonarQube, Nexus, Harbor apart from other security tools. Should be able to integrate security & other tools to run automatically after the builds are created 9. Experience in Cloud infrastructure like AWS, GCP or Azure. In AWS understanding on EC2, S3 & cloud 10. Strong knowledge and hands on experience in Unix/ Linux OS 11. Experience in network, server, application status monitoring and troubleshooting. 12. Design, develop automation suite and integrate with continuous integration process through Jenkins 13. Experienced in OS/ Patch/ Security upgrades. WA tool (/agents) upgrades, Batchman setup, etc 14. Knowledgeable on GVT, TVT, Mocked, Translated builds, etc for various variants of the Builds 15. Possess good problem solving and debugging skills. Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with development team to streamline code deployment to generate build 16. Strong and effective interpersonal communication, problem solving & analytical skills. Should be able to lead the Build team
