Description
As a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with strong AWS expertise, you will be responsible for leading and managing end-to-end DevOps solutions for AWS-based projects. Your role will involve working closely with front-end and back-end teams to design CI/CD pipelines, comparing and designing solutions for different architecture types, and defining strategies for debugging, deploying, and rolling back in both environments. Additionally, you will be required to build efficient deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and Terraform, manage customization requests, and define clear rollback and monitoring strategies using various tools like Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, and CloudWatch. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and manage end-to-end DevOps solutions for AWS-based projects, utilizing services like ECS, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, IAM, and Terraform. - Design CI/CD pipelines in collaboration with front-end and back-end teams to optimize deployment and reduce friction. - Compare and design solutions for monolithic vs microservices architectures. - Build efficient deployment pipelines using GitHub Actions and Terraform. - Design smooth deployment structures for teams with 10+ developers on static and dynamic applications. - Manage customization requests while ensuring standardized, fast, and reliable deployments. - Define clear rollback and monitoring strategies using Prometheus, Grafana, Alert Manager, and CloudWatch. - Expose APIs securely for SaaS platforms following AWS best practices. - Implement security models, authentication, and monitoring to safeguard applications. - Evaluate existing systems and suggest improvements in performance, automation, and developer experience. Qualifications Required: - 7+ years of DevOps experience with a strong focus on AWS services like ECS, S3, CloudFront, IAM, Terraform, and CloudWatch. - Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tools. - Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform). - Strong understanding of monolithic vs microservices architectures and deployment strategies. - Proven ability to work independently, solve problems, and think critically in real-world scenarios. - Experience with monitoring & observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and Alert Manager. - Strong collaboration skills with developers and cross-functional teams. Additional Company Details: - Nice to have: Experience with EKS and an understanding of when to use it over ECS. - Exposure to React web, React Native, Python, and JavaScript environments. - Background in platform engineering or API management in SaaS solutions.,
