Devops Engineer

Job Description

Key Skills: Devops Engineer, CICD Pipeline, Github, Kubernetes, Docker Roles and Responsibilities: Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines to automate the build, testing, and deployment of applications across multiple environments. Develop and optimize infrastructure automation using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps. Write scripts to facilitate automation tasks. Configure and maintain seamless integration between source code repositories (e.g., Git, GitLab, Azure DevOps) and deployment systems. Leverage on-premises and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) to deploy applications and manage resources, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security. Work closely with development, QA, and operations teams to define deployment standards, troubleshoot issues, and improve processes across the development lifecycle. Ensure security best practices, including secrets management, vulnerability scanning, and access control, are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline. Maintain clear documentation on deployment processes, pipeline configurations, and troubleshooting procedures. Mentor and share knowledge with other team members. Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes for deploying and managing containerized applications. Skills Required: 4+ years of hands-on experience in DevOps, with a specific focus on CI/CD pipeline development and automation. Expertise with at least one major CI/CD tool such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Azure DevOps. Strong experience working with Git-based version control systems (e.g., GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket). Practical experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and services such as EC2, S3, RDS, or similar. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and tools. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with an ability to work cross-functionally and adapt in a fast-paced environment. Ability to utilize scripting languages like shell scripts, Python, Perl, and Ruby. Working knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server and SQL query language. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to operate well under pressure. Flexibility to adapt to changing environments. Sound decision-making ability. Education: Bachelor's Degree in related field
