Devops Engineer

Key Skills:

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Provision, configure, and harden Linux systems, specifically Alma Linux, including ISO creation and system upgrades.
• Automate tasks and manage system configurations using shell scripting, including RPM management and systemctl.
• Ensure system security and compliance through hardening practices and system audits.
• Provision and configure Docker containers and manage Linux hosts, automating container lifecycle processes for scalable deployments.
• Demonstrate a basic understanding of networking concepts, including IP addressing, firewalls, and protocols such as SNMP.
• Set up and configure monitoring tools like Grafana and Zabbix for data visualization and system health monitoring.
• Collect system and application metrics using monitoring frameworks and configure user roles in Grafana or Zabbix for secure access control.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, automating tasks related to code coverage, security, and secret management.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and IT teams to optimize system performance and reliability, troubleshooting issues in staging and production environments.
• Stay updated with emerging tools and technologies to enhance system processes and performance.

Experience Requirement:

• 5 - 8 years of experience.
• Strong hands-on experience in DevOps practices including Linux system administration, containerization, and automation.
• Proven track record in setting up CI/CD pipelines and integrating monitoring tools.
• Solid understanding of system security, performance optimization, and collaboration in cross-functional teams.
