DevOps Automation Architect

About the role...

This DevOps professional will have the opportunity to work for an AI-based Unicorn which is recognized as one of the fastest-growing companies on the Inc. 5000 list. They will work in the Development & Delivery of cloud native applications and AI solutions across all major cloud providers - AWS, GCP and Azure. They will work in various data sciences and machine learning platforms like Hadoop, and Databricks.

Your primary responsibility will be to identify improvement opportunities and build automation solutions to bring efficiencies and build resiliency in the deployment, scaling, monitoring, and maintenance of the o9 Digital Brain SaaS platform. We seek an ideal candidate with strong understanding of SaaS applications, multi-cloud architecture, robust problem-solving & programming skills, and a proven history of implementing scalable automation solutions.

What you will do in this role:

• Develop and maintain tools that ensure smooth operations of o9's cloud-based solution;
• Develop and deploy best-in-class tools that support continuous integration and continuous delivery processes;
• Perform system and network administration; manage o9 platform deployment at AWS, Azure, Google Cloud;
• Use Dockers to deploy and manage containers;
• Monitor infrastructure health using ELK cluster;
• Administer databases that are part of o9 platforms using MS SQL, Mongo
• Develop and debug Custom Integration service tasks

What you’ll have...

• 8+ years

  of experience in DevOps role, performance tuning, conducting application upgrades, patches, supporting continuous integration and deployment tooling with a

  Master’s degree

  in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management OR

  10+ years

  of experience in a DevOps role, performance tuning, conducting application upgrades, patches, supporting continuous integration and deployment tooling with a

  Bachelor's

  degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, Industrial Engineering, Engineering Management
• Experience with

  Dockers

  or similar and experience with

  Kubernetes

  or similar; and

  Hadoop

  .
• Skills: Proficient with

  Cloud Operations

  (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), Jenkins or similar technologies,

  Ansible, Terraform

  , Administration of

  databases

  (MS SQL, Mongo)
• Proficiency in

  programming languages

  such as Python, Ruby, or Go, coupled with scripting experience.
• Significant experience with

  CI/CD tools

  like Jenkins, GitLab CI.
• Solid grasp of

  networking principles

  and adherence to security best practices in cloud environments.
• Proactive in staying current with

  developments in web applications, programming languages, software approaches, and architectures

  . Adapt to these changes through self-training and research work.
• Ensure non-functional requirements (security, performance, maintainability, scalability, usability, and reliability) are considered during solution design and implementation.
• Ability and flexibility to work with teams globally, across time zones

• Cloud Architect certification

• During the interview phase, you will meet with the technical panel for 60 minutes. We will contact you after the interview to let you know if we’d like to progress your application.
• There will be 2 rounds of technical discussion followed by a Managerial discussion.
