Development Technology Lead

As a Development Technology Lead at Citi in Pune, IN, you will be a key player in the multi-year transformation project aimed at simplifying and modernizing the legacy core banking platform. Your primary responsibility will involve migrating the DDA module into a modern, cloud-native next-generation DDA platform to cater to the account management and transaction processing needs of Citis Institutional Clients Group (ICG) business globally. Your role will require partnering with multiple management teams to ensure the integration of functions, identifying system enhancements, and deploying new products and process improvements. You will be responsible for executing and driving results on large-scale efforts, serving as a development lead for medium and large projects, and resolving high-impact problems through in-depth evaluation. Additionally, you will provide expertise in application programming, ensure application design aligns with the overall architecture blueprint, and develop a comprehensive understanding of how different areas of business integrate to achieve goals. You will also serve as an advisor to mid-level developers, allocate work as necessary, and effectively communicate technical and business risks to stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include providing architectural guidance, conducting design and code reviews, and driving continuous improvement in technology. You will be expected to demonstrate strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, databases, and other relevant technologies, as well as experience with ALM and CI/CD tools in an agile methodology. To be successful in this role, you should have 8-15 years of experience in application development or systems analysis, a strong background in solution design and architecture, and familiarity with architectural methodologies and frameworks. Experience in leading project solution architecture design, providing solutions for various technologies, and working in both waterfall and Agile methodologies will be advantageous. A bachelors degree or equivalent experience is required, with a masters degree being preferred. Experience within a banking/finance environment would be beneficial.
