Development Technology Lead

As a Development Technology Lead at Citi, your role involves leading development and programming activities for the migration of the DDA module into a modern cloud-native platform. You will partner with management teams to integrate functions, drive results on large-scale efforts, and provide expertise in application development methodologies. Key Responsibilities: - Partner with management teams to integrate functions and define necessary system enhancements - Drive results on large-scale efforts and serve as a lead for medium to large projects - Resolve high-impact problems through evaluation of complex business processes - Ensure application design follows architecture blueprint and development standards - Provide in-depth analysis to define issues and develop innovative solutions - Coach mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary - Communicate technical and business risks to business owners for informed decisions - Provide architectural guidance and conduct design reviews based on projects assigned Qualifications: - 8-15 years of experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role - Experience in designing and delivering complex, highly available development projects - Proven experience in solution design using technologies like microservices, big data, and Java - Strong hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, Database, JDBC, JMS, Rest, Big Data, Unix, and Observability Stack - Familiarity with ALM and CICD tools in an agile methodology - Experience in leading project solution architecture design and providing architectural deliverables - Ability to adjust priorities quickly and demonstrated leadership skills - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Preferred experience within a banking/finance environment Education: - Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience - Masters degree preferred Please note the additional details mentioned in the job description: - Citi is undergoing a transformation effort to simplify and modernize its legacy core banking platform - The DDA platform will provide account management and transaction processing capabilities for Citis Institutional Clients Group globally - The role will report to the Head of Engineering and be based out of Pune For any accessibility accommodations or further information, please refer to Citis EEO Policy Statement.
