Role Overview: Join the Google Operations Center team as a Developer Senior Specialist, where you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining user experience for internal tools and applications. You will collaborate closely with UX designers and backend engineers to bring innovative solutions to life, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience for users. Key Responsibilities: - Design, implement, test, and launch new features for both internal and external applications. - Adopt Scrum/Agile methodologies for development and maintenance. - Scale the platform/application as needed while maintaining SLOs and SLAs. - Keep technical documentation up to date with the current implementation. - Improve application architecture and resiliency continuously. - Address user/production bugs promptly to ensure high end-user satisfaction. - Establish and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment, enabling rapid and reliable releases. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent practical experience. - 4 to 6 years of experience building web applications using technologies like JAVA, Python, Javascript, HTML5, CSS3, or TypeScript. - Proficiency in Databases (SQL or NoSQL) and performance tuning of queries. - Minimum 4 years of experience in designing, implementing, and releasing full feature-sets. - Minimum 4 years of troubleshooting production issues and profiling applications for performance. - Minimum 2 years with Cloud Computing platforms like GCP, Azure, AWS. - Hands-on experience with integration using REST API and SOAP API. - Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following industry standards.
