Developer - Java/JavaScript/Typescript

As a Developer at SAP, you will collaborate with Senior Developers, Architects, and Product Managers to enhance and deliver features for the SAP Ariba Sourcing product. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing, coding, testing, and ensuring quality assurance of complex product features. - Collaborating with Product Managers, Architects, User Interaction Designers, QA Engineers, and Scrum Masters. - Building proof-of-concepts and actively participating in the entire software development lifecycle. - Engaging in technical discussions to design scalable, maintainable solutions. - Implementing technical standards and best practices. - Operating as a motivated self-starter with minimal handholding. - Delivering high-quality work within set timeframes. - Driving continuous improvements in quality, usability, and maintainability. Qualifications required for this role include: - Minimum 3-8 years of experience in designing and developing scalable, secure, reliable, and high-availability SaaS products. - Proficiency in Java 17 (+), Spring 6+, ORM tools like JPA/Hibernate, JavaScript, TypeScript, and experience with any UI library. - Practical experience in Microservices Architecture, CI/CD, API Testing Tools, SQL, Cloud technologies (AWS/GCP/Azure), Unit/Integration testing, and Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Strong collaboration and communication skills. Good to have skills: - Exposure to Gen AI, LLM usage, integration in business applications, modular Maven/Gradle applications, event-driven architecture, and experience using tools like JIRA for tracking tasks and bugs.
