Developer in Test II - Connected and Intelligent Solutions- Service Provider

Role Overview: You will be part of the Information Systems team at IS Global Service Center (GSC) in Chennai, India, supporting Expeditors IT operations. As a Developer in Test II, your main responsibility will be to design, develop, and maintain complex automation and custom test tools. You will contribute to shaping the direction and quality of business applications and testing frameworks. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automation and custom test tools - Collaborate on the design and development of systems with a focus on quality and testability - Provide automation test strategies and tools for technologies and systems - Utilize tools such as Selenium, Selenium WebDriver with TestNG or Cucumber - Work with scripting languages like TypeScript/JavaScript - Perform manual testing and support the QA process - Have basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines - Desired experience with Protractor using Jasmine or Cucumber Qualifications: - Minimum 5 years of experience in automation testing - Proficiency in Selenium, Selenium WebDriver with TestNG or Cucumber - Familiarity with scripting languages like TypeScript/JavaScript - Experience in manual testing and understanding of QA processes - Basic knowledge of CI/CD pipelines - Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or equivalent experience preferred - Strong object-oriented design and coding skills - Working knowledge of Java application development and Windows/UNIX/Linux systems - Experience in Agile development - Understanding of the transportation/global logistics industry Please note that Expeditors offers excellent benefits including paid vacation, holidays, medical insurance, an employee stock purchase plan, training and education programs, and unlimited opportunities for career advancement.,
