As an Integration Developer at Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. (ICE), you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology to address business challenges in the financial sector. Join our collaborative Enterprise Information Management team to contribute to the delivery of solutions across various business organizations. You will play a key role in the Integration team, supporting cross-system application and data integrations, alongside a group of experts in data, ETL, and Integrations. In this role, your technical proficiency, proactive attitude, professionalism, and effective communication skills will be essential. As an Integration Developer, you will help drive the strategy for tools and development without directly managing reports. Your responsibilities will include building, maintaining, and supporting applications within a global software platform and other corporate systems, tools, and scripts. Working closely with internal teams, you will translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions for process automation and application development. Effective communication with non-technical internal stakeholders to understand business needs and propose solutions will be a key aspect of your role. You will be responsible for managing projects throughout the development lifecycle, from specification gathering to deployment, while adhering to proper SDLC procedures. Additionally, you will contribute to knowledge sharing and best practices adoption within the team and enhance your technical skills through continuous learning initiatives. To succeed in this role, you should ideally hold a BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and possess 2-3 years of experience as an integration developer using applications like Talend or MuleSoft. Familiarity with building multi-threaded applications, distributed systems like Kafka and Rabbit MQ, and REST-based services is desirable. Proficiency in RDBMS concepts, SQL, design patterns, and object-oriented design concepts is expected. Experience with deployment automation tools such as Jenkins, Artifactory, and Maven will be beneficial. Strong written and verbal communication skills, multitasking abilities, and the capacity to work independently on multiple projects are essential for this role. Preferred qualifications include familiarity with Linux, Bash, SSH, as well as experience with applications like Salesforce, ServiceNow, ORMB, and other financial applications. Knowledge of the financial industry is considered advantageous for this position.,
