Dev Ops Engineer

Role Overview: As a DevOps Engineer at Emerson, you will be an integral part of the Technology team in EEEC Pune, India. Your role will involve utilizing your expertise in Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes (AKS), MongoDB, SQL Server, Linux, and Azure cloud to ensure smooth operations and deployments. You will play a key role in maintaining enterprise infrastructure platforms and supporting various testing processes. Key Responsibilities: - Responsible for app containerization & deployments for sprint/QA/validated releases, customer specific deployments, and installation support - Build and maintain Repos/CI/CD pipelines to streamline development processes - Maintain enterprise infrastructure platforms on Azure cloud - Design, deploy, and maintain Kubernetes clusters in production environments - Implement autoscaling, rolling updates, and enforce container security best practices - Containerize applications using Docker and automate infrastructure provisioning with tools like Terraform - Diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues, optimize resource usage, and implement disaster recovery strategies - Collaborate with development, QA, and security teams while maintaining clear documentation of systems and processes - Work with Microservices based Architecture and Platform & Cloud Administration Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MSc / MCA (Computer Science/ IT) - 3 to 5 years of relevant experience - Experience in designing, deploying, and maintaining Kubernetes clusters in production environments - Ability to build secure, scalable CI/CD pipelines and enforce container security best practices - Proficiency in containerizing applications using Docker and automating infrastructure provisioning with tools like Terraform - Strong interpersonal and communication skills Additional Company Details: Emerson is committed to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment where every employee is valued and respected.
