Desktop Technician

As a Senior IT Specialist at BCE Global Tech, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Organization's Corporate store retail IT program. Your expertise in IT operations, security, and project management will contribute to the success of our retail technology initiatives. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as prime resource for Organization's Corporate store retail IT program - Collaborate with IT security prime to ensure security initiatives are actioned and remediated - Assist in developing and maintaining IT plans and standards, including monthly currency plan, Operating System Image Creation, Intune / Autopilot plan, and Windows OS and 3rd party patching - Troubleshoot incidents related to hardware/software as required - Maintain the IT POS lab and ensure hardware and software standards are met - Represent IT in meetings related to store build and new technology - Test new hardware and software as required - Manage small projects, including MS monthly patch testing, reporting, and mitigation, and developing patching plans for 3rd party and other app patching. Technology Skills: - Microsoft Products: Intune, Autopilot, Windows OS - IT Service Management: ITIL Foundation - Operating System: Windows 10, Windows Server - Hardware: PC, Laptop, Mobile Devices - Software: Microsoft Office, Antivirus software - Networking: LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi - Security: Patch management, Vulnerability management - Project Management: Agile, Waterfall Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. - Total 3+ years of experience in IT operations, technical support, or related field. - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues. - Familiarity with IT service management best practices and Microsoft products. - Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
