Job Summary:

Desktop Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware, software, and peripherals (PCs, printers, monitors, etc.)
  
• Provide technical support to end-users on Windows/Mac systems and standard applications (e.g., MS Office, email, VPN)
  
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, both remotely and on-site
  
• Set up and manage user accounts, permissions, and profiles using Active Directory
  
• Maintain and update operating systems and software patches
  
• Support IT asset inventory management and lifecycle tracking
  
• Configure and support mobile devices and remote access solutions
  
• Collaborate with the network and systems teams for escalations and infrastructure issues
  
• Document technical processes, solutions, and support requests in ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Freshservice)
  

Requirements:

Technical Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and macOS environments
  
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365, Teams, and Outlook support
  
• Hands-on experience with Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS/DHCP basics
  
• Basic understanding of networking concepts (IP addressing, VPNs, firewalls)
  
• Experience with remote support tools (e.g., TeamViewer, AnyDesk, RDP)
  
• Imaging and deployment tools (e.g., SCCM, MDT) is a plus
  
• Knowledge of endpoint protection software and security practices
  

Qualifications:

• Graduation/Post Graduation in IT, Computer Science
  
• 24 years of experience in a Desktop Support / IT Support role
  
• Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft Modern Desktop Administrator (MD-100/MD-101) are desirable
