As a key member of the AutoZone team, you will be instrumental in enhancing the customer experience and driving sustainable business outcomes through your work on system integrity and continuity. Your role will involve various aspects of the system development life cycle, including software application development, technical services provision, and support for engineering and automation initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining software applications, encompassing debugging, designing, coding, testing, writing specifications, rolling out software, and providing production support. - Offering technical services related to software, hardware, network architecture design and maintenance, and data security. - Supporting engineering and automation by coding based on provided designs and plans, and implementing roll-out solutions. - Managing inventory records and hardware assignments using the asset management system. - Monitoring the health of hardware and software systems to ensure compliance with established service level agreements (SLAs). - Staying updated on AutoZone systems innovations and changes to deliver quality support using appropriate tools and training. - Regularly maintaining, upgrading, and supporting existing systems to ensure operational stability for business groups. - Collaborating cross-functionally with end user support, conferencing support, and inventory support teams to share knowledge and apply scripting and engineering automation solutions for the enterprise. Qualifications required for this role include: - 3 to 5 years of industry experience. - Experience in desktop administration, end user support, installation, configuration, and troubleshooting. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. - Proficiency in MS Office. - Novice proficiency with AutoZone software, architecture, and methodology. - Technical skills in UNIX, Linux, Windows, Cobol, Java, MS SQL, C, C++, Informix, Greenplum, Hadoop, ATG, QT4, Oracle, PostgreSQL, DB2/SQL, JCL, CSP, CICS, TCP/IP, Networking, and LAN administration. - Basic problem-solving, domain technical, and analytical skills. - May require technical supervision to complete tasks.
