Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Jewellery Manual Designer, based in the Greater Ahmedabad Area. The professional will be responsible for creating intricate jewellery designs on paper, working closely with the design team to translate client and market requirements into scalable designs. Day-to-day tasks include sketching traditional and contemporary jewellery concepts, ensuring precision and attention to detail, and collaborating with craftsmen to verify technical feasibility. The role requires an appreciation for artistry, creativity, and an understanding of manufacturing processes.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Manual Jewellery Designing, including sketching and illustrating intricate designs.
• Knowledge of traditional Indian design forms, like Jadau, Meena, and Kundan.
• Ability to blend contemporary styles with traditional aesthetics.
• Understanding of materials, precious stones, and technical feasibility for manufacturing processes.
• Attention to detail and an eye for precision to ensure design scalability and market suitability.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with craftsmen, clients, and the design team.
• Formal training or certification in jewellery designing is preferred.
• Proficiency in additional design tools or technology for conceptual translation is a plus.
