Employment Type: Full-time Position Overview We are seeking an experienced and visionary Design Head to lead our mechanical design team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in AutoCAD and mechanical design, with more than 10 years of experience in leading design projects, teams, and innovation efforts. This leadership role will focus on driving design excellence, improving design processes, and ensuring high standards across all projects. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage the mechanical design team, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Oversee the development of detailed design drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and other CAD tools. Review and approve design work, ensuring accuracy, feasibility, and compliance with industry standards. Collaborate closely with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to ensure smooth execution of designs. Implement and standardize design protocols, best practices, and documentation procedures. Guide the adoption of new design tools, technologies, and innovation initiatives. Train and mentor junior designers and engineers to build internal capabilities. XDF Interface with clients and stakeholders for design discussions and technical reviews. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (Masters preferred). 10+ years of professional experience in mechanical design and engineering. Proven expertise in AutoCAD (2D & 3D) and related design software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and material selection. Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage complex design projects. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
