Design Specialist

Role Overview: As a Designer (2D/3D Design) at Woodtales, located in Devaria, Near Rudrapur, Kichha, Uttarakhand, you will be responsible for creating precise and efficient 2D vector designs and 3D models for CNC router projects. Your role will involve interpreting client or internal team requirements, optimizing designs for material usage and production efficiency, collaborating with production and engineering teams, and ensuring all designs meet safety, quality, and functional standards. Key Responsibilities: - Create detailed 2D vector designs and 3D models for CNC router projects. - Translate client or internal team requirements into technical drawings and design files. - Optimize designs for material usage, production speed, and tool efficiency. - Generate CAM files with appropriate tool paths, feeds, and speeds for CNC routing. - Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure design specifications are met. - Conduct revisions and modifications based on prototype testing and customer feedback. - Maintain a database of reusable design templates and components. - Stay informed about industry trends, tools, and CNC technologies. Qualifications Required: - Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Design, Industrial Design, CAD/CAM, or a related field. - Experience in CNC routing design, including proficiency in both 2D and 3D design. - Strong portfolio demonstrating relevant CNC projects. - Proficiency in CAD/CAM software like Fusion 360, SolidWorks, VCarve, Rhino, AutoCAD, coraldraw, or similar. - Familiarity with G-code generation and post-processing for CNC routers. - Understanding of CNC router machine operation, tool selection, and maintenance. - Knowledge of material behavior during routing processes (wood, MDF, acrylic, foam, HDHMR, etc.). - Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and critical thinking. - Excellent communication, teamwork, and time management abilities.
