Design Researcher - Senior

As a Design Researcher, your role involves understanding and comprehending client briefs to create effective research plans tailored for multidisciplinary design verticals. You will be responsible for conducting primary and secondary research using various methods, such as focus groups, surveys, and ethnographic research. Additionally, you will need to draw insights from data to inform the design process and present findings to stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: - Understand and interpret client briefs to create research plans - Plan and conduct primary research including user persona creation, trend mapping, and customer journey mapping - Conduct secondary research by compiling external data sources and synthesizing existing reports - Identify trends, patterns, and preferences to inform design decisions - Deliver crafted personas, trends, and concept spaces to stakeholders - Identify new methods of data collection and conduct product testing in controlled environments - Coordinate with external agencies/consultants when required and utilize AI research tools - Build a library of trends for future reference and contribute to brainstorming sessions Qualifications Required: - 3+ years of experience in conducting design research - Proficiency in market research terminology and processes - Strong analytical skills and ability to draw insights from data - Experience in presenting findings to stakeholders - Entrepreneurial spirit and interest in building proprietary data and insights This job offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic design industry in Pune, Maharashtra, India, where you will play a crucial role in shaping design strategies and brand narratives through effective research and analysis.,
