Design - Process Engineer

MANUFACTURING ENGINEER ( DESIGN WITH PROCESS ENGINEER)

Manufacturing Engineer is responsible for new product Development process prove out but not Limited to design work collaboratively with NPD team members to release process documentation.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Preparing APQP document like PFD, Facility requirement sheet, PFMEA during new product release.
• Maintain a centralized repository of all process documents and ensure updates are made as processes evolve
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure processes are followed and deliver consistent results.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on process optimization.
• Process layout design to optimise the material & man movement
• Releasing of related documentation through PLM.
• Collaborate with NPD team to determine project requirements.
• Develop actionable recommendations for streamlining operations, improving productivity, and reducing cost.
• Train team members on new processes and ensure adherence to documented procedures.
• Designing of Jig & Fixtures with SMED concept.
• Designing of MHE (Material Handling Equipment's) for our requirements
• Implementing process cost Reduction to Achieve the Target cost.
• Manufacturing Feasibility Study.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
• Minimum 7 years of process Design & Development.
• Experience with manufacturing process development.
• Proficient in solid works and Auto CAD
• Knowledge in PPAP documentation.
• Good knowledge in GD&T
• Adequate Process Knowledge in Areas like Machining, Assembly, Press shop, welding.
• SAP and PLM Knowledge are an asset
• Adequate Knowledge in preparation of APQP documents.
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
