Design & PreSales Executive

As a Design & PreSales Executive at our leading Coimbatore-based modular and custom office furniture manufacturing company, you will play a crucial role in supporting the design and pre-sales functions to deliver high-quality solutions for commercial projects. Your responsibilities will include: Design Support: - Assisting in preparing preliminary designs, layout plans, and basic structural drawings for modular furniture projects. - Collaborating with the design team to generate GA drawings and assist in connection detailing. - Ensuring that all drawings and designs adhere to industry standards and project requirements. Pre-Sales Coordination: - Supporting the sales and estimation team by providing technical documentation during client inquiries. - Preparing BOQs, material take-offs, and basic cost estimates. - Assisting in creating proposal documents, design presentations, and project concept notes. Client Interaction: - Engaging with clients and consultants to grasp project briefs and site conditions. - Participating in client meetings and offering design-related inputs under the guidance of senior engineers or sales heads. - Addressing initial technical queries from customers and escalating complex queries to senior team members. Internal Coordination: - Coordinating with the engineering, estimation, and procurement teams to gather inputs for proposals. - Ensuring timely submission of designs and proposals for ongoing enquiries. Key Skills & Competencies: - Preferred basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Sketchup. - Good understanding of steel structures and furniture concepts. - Effective verbal and written communication skills. - Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. - Strong team player with attention to detail. Qualifications: - B.E. / Diploma in Civil or Structural Engineering. - Minimum of 3 years of experience in a design or technical support role, preferably in the furniture manufacturing industry.
