Design Engineering Intern - Mechanical

Gain practical experience in product development, from concept to manufacturing, and contribute to projects by drafting technical documents and collaborating with different departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design & Prototyping:

  Assist in creating 3D models, blueprints, and prototypes of new concepts and products using CAD software.

• Research & Analysis:

  Conduct research into user needs, market trends, and existing products to inform design decisions.

• Testing & Validation:

  Support the testing and evaluation of prototypes to assess usability, performance, and adherence to industry standards and regulations.

• Documentation:

  Prepare detailed technical reports, design packages, and documentation for manufacturing, including drawings, bills of materials, and project progress.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with other engineers, manufacturing teams, sales, and other stakeholders to ensure design requirements are met and to facilitate a smooth development process.

• Problem Solving:

  Assist in identifying and resolving design issues, implementing engineering changes to improve efficiency and product performance.

• Process Improvement:

  Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by applying learned engineering principles to enhance existing designs and processes.

Required Skills & Knowledge

• Technical Skills:

  Proficiency in CAD software (e.g.
