Design Engineer

As a design engineer at our leading Solar Structures manufacturing industry in India, you will play a crucial role in our creative team by executing various engineering responsibilities such as designing, researching, and prototyping innovative products. Your key responsibilities will include building both 2D and 3D models utilizing computer-aided design technology, evaluating loads and stresses to ensure structural integrity, creating physical prototypes of designs, overseeing the testing of designs including stress, load, and fatigue testing, analyzing test data and performing root cause failure analyses, preparing technical reports and project documents, managing the development process by monitoring progress and costs, and keeping clients well-informed. Additionally, you will be required to present designs and showcase prototypes effectively. To qualify for this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in design engineering, Structural product design, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position. Strong written and verbal communication skills, precise attention to detail, and proficiency in MS Office and popular design software are essential requirements. Proficiency in software tools such as STAAD Pro (mandatory), AutoCAD for drawings, and Tekla/SolidWorks for Analysis is crucial for this role.
