Design Engineer (Water Industry)

Process identification as per customer requirements, designing detailing and generation of supporting documents

• To identify and collect data required for design the System.
• Planning and control of micro level design stages to design the System.
• Design system output generation on basis of input availability in accordance with URS & Check List received by Project Functional Dept.
• Review of design of the system output.
• Maintenance of documents (hard and soft copies) and its change control.
• Co-ordinate inter and intra functional activities.
• Internal and external customer satisfaction.
• Quality assurance.
• Control of design system changes.

• Incumbent needs to know

- Good understanding of water analysis report

- Knowledge of required input / output parameters limitations for water systems (MGF, IRF, CRF, Softener, UF (Pre / post), CSRO, HSRO, EDI)

- Able to design Tanks, Heat exchangers, Process P &ID for water systems

- Able select equipment, instruments, valves and other components for water systems

- Knowledge of ASME BPE / ISPE / EU guidelines

- Knowledge of piping standards ie ASME BPE, BS 4825. DIN Standards
