Design Engineer

You will be working as a Design Engineer at Trio India, a leading manufacturer of fire doors and cleanroom partition panels. Your role will involve creating detailed 2D and 3D CAD models, modifying technical drawings, and collaborating with production and quality teams to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards. You will also be responsible for conducting engineering calculations, working on material selection, and assisting in prototyping and testing new products. Key Responsibilities: - Develop 2D and 3D CAD models for fire doors and cleanroom partition panels. - Create and modify technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other design software. - Collaborate with production and quality teams to ensure manufacturability and product quality. - Perform engineering calculations and structural analysis to validate designs. - Work with customers and project managers to understand requirements and develop custom solutions. - Conduct material selection and cost optimization for efficient production. - Ensure designs comply with fire safety standards and cleanroom regulations. - Assist in prototyping and testing of new products and design modifications. - Maintain design documentation, BOMs (Bill of Materials), and revision history. - Support the R&D team in developing innovative designs and improving existing products. Qualifications & Skills: - Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field. - 2+ years of experience in product design, preferably in the manufacturing or construction industry. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or other CAD software. - Knowledge of sheet metal design, fabrication processes, and material properties. - Understanding of fire door and cleanroom partition standards (preferred). - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. - Excellent communication and teamwork skills. In this role, you will need to have a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or a related field, along with 2+ years of experience in product design.
