Design Engineer (Solidworks)

You are a highly skilled SolidWorks Design Engineer with over 3 years of experience in designing and developing mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks. Your main responsibilities will include: - Designing detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings using SolidWorks. - Knowledge of nesting DXF and parts bending, Product BOM & Explodes view Giff and videos. - Designing mechanical components and systems based on project specifications and requirements. - Modifying and optimizing existing designs for performance, cost, and manufacturability. You will also need to: - Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility and accuracy. - Collaborate with clients or stakeholders to understand design requirements and provide technical solutions. - Prepare and maintain design documentation, including BOMs, technical drawings, and project reports. - Conduct design simulations and analyses to validate performance and durability. - Identify opportunities for process improvements in design workflows. Qualifications required for this role: - Education: Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Design Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in mechanical design using SolidWorks. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in SolidWorks, including 3D modeling, assembly, and 2D drafting. - Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, strong attention to detail, effective communication, and time-management skills. Preferred qualifications include experience in industries like automotive, aerospace, or consumer products, knowledge of other CAD tools such as AutoCAD, CATIA, or Creo, and exposure to project management tools and methodologies.
