Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Create, update, and maintain 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models using
AutoCAD
and
SolidWorks
.
Develop design concepts and convert them into engineering models and detailed technical drawings.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, Manufacturing, Quality) to ensure feasibility, functionality, and cost-effectiveness of designs.
Perform design calculations, tolerance analysis, and material selection.
Support prototype development, testing, and validation of mechanical components and assemblies.
Revise and improve existing designs to enhance performance, reliability, or manufacturability.
Ensure adherence to design standards, industry codes, and internal quality processes.
Maintain design documentation and version control in the PLM or document management system.
Participate in design reviews and incorporate feedback into the final designs.
