A Design Engineer in a manufacturing company creates and refines product designs using CAD and pv elite software, developing prototypes and ensuring feasibility for mass production. Key responsibilities include conducting feasibility studies, collaborating with production, quality control, and R&D teams, maintaining engineering records, and overseeing the manufacturing process to ensure products meet specifications and industry standards. Essential skills include proficiency in CAD, strong analytical and creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, and project management.
Design & Development:Research, plan, and create design prototypes for new and existing products, utilizing CAD software for 3D models and 2D drawings. Feasibility & Prototyping:Assess the technical and economic viability of new designs and develop prototypes for testing and validation. Cross-Functional Collaboration:Work closely with production, quality control, R&D, marketing, and sales teams to gather requirements, provide technical input, and integrate feedback into designs.should have experience in heat exchanger or pressure vessel design.
