Design Engineer

Job Specification  Create accurate 3D models and 2D drawings of mechanical parts, assemblies, and complete machines using CAD software.  Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings including dimensions, tolerances (GD&T), materials, and surface finishes.  Ensure that all designs are practical for manufacturing and assembly with minimal rework.  Generate and maintain BOMs for all projects and ensure consistency with designs and drawings.  Update existing designs based on feedback, testing, or change requests from production or quality teams.  Work with production, procurement, quality, and R&D teams to align design intent with project requirements.  Assist in concept development, prototyping, and iterative improvements of new machines or mechanical systems.  Follow internal and external engineering standards such as ISO, DIN, ASME, etc., in all design outputs.  Maintain proper design documentation, drawing numbers, revision history, and ensure secure storage of design data.  Analyze and resolve design-related issues, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize mechanical designs for performance and durability.  Provide design clarifications and technical support during assembly, testing, and commissioning phases.  Participate in design reviews and suggest improvements to enhance product quality, efficiency, and innovation. Key Skill Required in Candidate  Proficient in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, CATIA).  Strong understanding of GD&T, manufacturing processes, and mechanical design principles.  Knowledge of materials, fasteners, and fabrication techniques.  Analytical thinking and attention to detail.  Strong communication and teamwork skills.  Time management and ability to handle multiple design projects simultaneously. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹200,000.00 - ₹350,000.00 per year
