Job Summary: We are seeking an innovative and highly skilled Engineer for our New Technology Development team. The ideal candidate will drive the creation and implementation of cutting-edge technologies that enhance our product offerings and maintain our competitive edge in the industry. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, extensive research, and hands-on development to bring new ideas from concept to reality. Key Responsibilities: Research & Development: Conduct comprehensive research on emerging technologies and industry trends. Develop prototypes and proof-of-concept models for new technology initiatives. Evaluate and test new technologies to determine feasibility and potential applications. Design & Engineering: Design and develop innovative solutions that align with the companys strategic goals. Create detailed engineering specifications, technical drawings, and documentation. Utilize CAD and other engineering software to model and simulate new technologies. Prototyping & Testing: Develop and test prototypes to evaluate design performance and functionality. Perform tests to ensure products meet all relevant standards and specifications. Analyze test results and iterate designs based on findings. Project Management: Lead and manage new technology development projects from inception through to completion. Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes. Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development, manufacturing, and marketing. Present findings, project updates, and technical insights to senior management and stakeholders. Foster a collaborative environment that encourages innovation and knowledge sharing. Technical Expertise: Stay current with advancements in engineering, materials science, and related fields. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and team members. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during the development and implementation phases.
