Need to create concepts and designs for new products or systems, addressing specific needs and requirements.
Work on modifying existing designs to enhance performance, efficiency, or functionality.
Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) and computer-aided engineering (CAE) software to create detailed technical drawings, models, and plans.
Design engineers need to conduct testing on prototypes, analyze data, and make adjustments to improve designs.
Have to work with various teams, including R&D, marketing, and manufacturing, to ensure designs align with overall product development goals.
Identify and resolve design-related issues, ensuring designs are feasible and reliable.
Have to prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations to communicate design details and progress.
keep abreast of new technologies and design trends to incorporate them into their work.
Ensure that designs comply with relevant industry standards and regulations.
May also propose schedules and budgets for projects and stick to them.
Minimum 3 years' experience in Mechanical Design using Solidworks/AutoCAD.
