- Develop and review specifications, including design criteria for projects.
- Apply Cost Competitive Execution techniques to develop cost-effective solutions.
- Participate in equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities.
- Perform calculations, specify equipment, and solve problems related to moderately complex engineering issues.
- Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance with project requirements.
- Analyze and recommend solutions to problems with varying complexity according to organizational objectives.
Job Requirements
- Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in engineering.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
- Basic knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability, and cost of materials.
- Practical field experience and intermediate computer and software skills.
- Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
- Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious manner.
- Professional registration is preferred.
