Job Description

Develop and review specifications, including design criteria for projects.
Apply Cost Competitive Execution techniques to develop cost-effective solutions.
Participate in equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting activities.
Perform calculations, specify equipment, and solve problems related to moderately complex engineering issues.
Review vendor equipment documentation for compliance with project requirements.
Analyze and recommend solutions to problems with varying complexity according to organizational objectives.

Job Requirements

Accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in engineering.
Ability to communicate effectively with management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
Basic knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability, and cost of materials.
Practical field experience and intermediate computer and software skills.
Ability to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
Ability to attend to detail and work in a time-conscious manner.
Professional registration is preferred.
Advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability, and cost of materials.
