Job Description

Experience: 5+ Years, Location: Bangalore

Domain: Automotive

Key Responsibilities:

Perform
heat load, cooling load, and airflow calculations
for enclosed environments such as vehicle cabins or equipment enclosures.
Design and model
complete HVAC systems
using
CATIA V5/V6
, including components like ducts, blowers, heat exchangers, filters, and control housings.
Develop
duct routing, packaging/layout
, and integration of HVAC components into vehicle or equipment architecture.
Create detailed 3D models, assemblies, and 2D drawings with correct
GD&T
, fitment, and tolerance stack-up.
Optimize
airflow and space utilization
while considering manufacturability, serviceability, and noise/vibration aspects.
Collaborate with
thermal, structural, controls, and vehicle architecture
teams for multi-disciplinary integration.
Conduct
psychrometric analysis
, pressure drop, and duct sizing using industry tools or manual methods.
Support prototype builds and testing with
design improvements based on test feedback
.
Ensure compliance with industry standards (ASHRAE, ISO 10263, SAE J1503, etc.).
Maintain documentation: CAD files, BOMs, test results, calculation reports, and change history.
