Role & responsibilities Perform heating/cooling load calculations and prepare detailed HVAC designs. Develop duct layouts, piping layouts, and schematic diagrams using AutoCAD/Revit. Select appropriate HVAC equipment (Chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, Pumps, Exhaust Fans, etc.) based on project requirements. Ensure compliance with ASHRAE, ISHRAE, SMACNA, and local codes/standards . Prepare BOQ, technical specifications, and material submittals for projects. Coordinate with architects, consultants, and other MEP services for system integration. Support project execution by reviewing shop drawings, conducting site inspections, and resolving technical issues. Provide value engineering solutions to optimize cost and energy efficiency. Collaborate with procurement and vendors for technical evaluation of HVAC equipment. Stay updated with the latest HVAC technologies, sustainability standards (LEED/IGBC), and energy-efficient solutions. Preferred candidate profile Strong knowledge of HVAC design principles and system selection . Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP/TRACE, and MS Office . Familiarity with Building Management Systems (BMS) and controls. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment. Strong organizational and time-management skills.
