Job Description for Door Mechanism :

Experience:5+ Years ,, Location: Bangalore

Domain: Automotive

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop
Bus

door mechanisms
including hinges, linkages, locking systems, actuators, guides, and control interfaces.
Create detailed
3D CAD models and 2D technical drawings
using
CATIA V5/V6
.
Develop functional and space-optimized designs for
manual, pneumatic, electric, or hydraulic
door actuation systems.
Simulate and analyze
kinematics
of the door mechanism to ensure smooth and reliable operation.
Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards and regulations (e.g., UNECE, ISO, ADA).
Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in
electrical, controls, body design, and testing
.
Conduct
tolerance stack-up analysis
,
DFMEA
, and participate in
design reviews
.
Support
prototype development
,
bench testing
, and
field validation
of door systems.
Prepare and maintain design documentation including BOMs, test reports, and change notices.
Interact with suppliers and manufacturing teams to ensure
design for manufacturability (DFM)
and
cost optimization
.
