Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Design Engineer to support customer-specific requirements and new model development . The role involves close collaboration with manufacturing teams to ensure smooth production through accurate design data and innovative component solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design activities for customer-specific requirements and new model development.
Share design data for existing models to support bus production.
Create and release new part numbers for proprietary components.
Convert digital designs to physical formats for production readiness.
Develop new concepts and designs for bus components.
Improve product build quality with cost-effective and robust design solutions.

Decision-Making Authority:

Independently handle:

Minor design solutions
Fit & finish improvements
Component design, development, and validation
FRP part concept generation
Engineering calculations
Material specifications
Regulatory and certification dimensions
Overall vehicle specifications
IS & AI standards compliance

Mandatory Skills:

Experience in bus body design and manufacturing support
Proficiency in Catia and PLM tools
