Design Engineer

You will have the opportunity to support the MKM team in the preparation of 2D, 3D, and product development activities. Key Responsibilities: - Create, develop, and realize designs in CAD Models and Drawings within the agreed time frame, focusing on the design and development of automotive components such as Motor, Motor Components, Motor Systems, etc. - Generate component designs, assembly drawings, single part drawings, Bill of materials in accordance with Brose standards and procedures. - Perform basic technical calculations (e.g., GD & T, Stack-up) and simulations (e.g., deformation, loading, kinematics, etc.). - Manage documentation and data using tools like 3DX and SAP, following company standards. - Collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and testing teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturability, supporting prototype development, testing, and validation activities. - Incorporate feedback from customers, benchmarking, contacts from fairs, return of know-how from products in series production, and assure implementation in future developments to pursue continuous improvement. - Ensure compliance with internal standards, industry standards, and customer specifications. Qualifications Required: - Graduation in Mechanical or comparable disciplines with 1 to 3 years of experience. - Basic knowledge of various CATIA V5 modules (i.e., Part design, drafting, Assy. etc). - Good Knowledge of Engineering Drawing of machine components and Assembly. - Good Understanding of GD & T. - Knowledge of manufacturing processes (I.e., Plastic injection molding, stamping). - Experience in the automotive industry or a related mechanical domain. - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. - Good written and verbal communication skills. - VB knowledge is preferred for Catia Automations.
