Design Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities: -

• Prepares CAD models and customer acceptance drawing in customer requested format for submission Prepares proto / production design / drawings for Checking
• Prepare kit part list for release in co-ordination with after sales department
• Update project file as per QHSE/TS 16949 requirements for future reference / use whenever relevant Prepare / Update TGR / TGW list for future reference / use
• Making design changes (Drawing / alteration notes) for release
• Evaluate concessions / deviations and assist Section Head for production
• Evaluate sample inspection report for approval
• Carryout layout/installation checks (using CAD)/ packaging studies/design calculation for design release Prepare tolerance layouts for design release
• Prepare Design FMEA revisions for release
• Conduct design review for New product / design change & follow up for introduction
• Prepares BI technical specification changes / formulation for release
• Prepares PBOM for new products to release for costing
• Interacts with vendors/ units for parts development
• Preserves documents received from customers / collaborators / License partners for future reference / use To ensure proper house-keeping of the respective areas
• Generating VA/VE ideas and coordinating with manufacturing/supplier for implementation Prepare Risk analysis for new products
• Raise Job Request Note for testing / FEA and provide necessary inputs / samples / CAD models Co-ordination with in-house testing team during failure analysis

Preferred candidate profile

Qualification:

• B.Tech / B.E. in

  Automobile

  ,

  Mechanical

  , or

  Mechatronics

  Engineering.

Experience:

• 2 to 4 years

  of hands-on experience in

  Design Engineering

  .

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in

  UG NX

  ,

  AutoCAD

  ,

  CATIA

  ,

  SolidWorks

  , and

  Pro/ENGINEER (Pro-E)

  .
• Strong understanding of

  product design

  ,

  CAD modeling

  , and

  engineering drawings

  .

Additional Attributes:

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.
• Exposure to automotive or manufacturing domain is a plus.
