Job Responsibilities:

Prepare detailed
2D and 3D drawings
using
AutoCAD
(and other design software if required).
Develop design layouts, fabrication drawings, and assembly diagrams as per project requirements.
Review and modify existing designs to improve efficiency and performance.
Work closely with the
Project
,
Production
, and
Quality
teams to ensure designs are feasible and meet technical standards.
Ensure all designs comply with industry standards, safety norms, and client specifications.
Maintain proper documentation of design changes, drawing revisions, and version control.
Assist in material selection, cost estimation, and preparation of Bill of Materials (BOM).
Participate in client meetings or internal discussions for design clarification and approval.
Support the development of prototypes and testing activities, if applicable.

Key Skills & Competencies:

Proficient in
AutoCAD
(2D & 3D); knowledge of
SolidWorks / CATIA / Revit
is an added advantage.
Strong understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes, and tolerances.
Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical specifications and mechanical drawings.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Qualification & Experience:

Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in
Mechanical / Civil / Electrical Engineering
(depending on project type).
15 years
of experience in a similar design role.
Experience in
AutoCAD-based design
for industrial, construction, or product applications preferred.
