Job Description

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Design Engineer to join our growing technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and developing designs for engineering systems, components, and products as per client and project specifications. This role requires strong technical proficiency, creativity, and hands-on experience with CAD software and engineering standards. Key Responsibilities: Develop 2D and 3D engineering drawings using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent tools Interpret technical specifications, client requirements, and project documentation Collaborate with project and production teams to optimize design functionality and cost-efficiency Perform stress analysis, tolerance studies, and design verifications Revise and improve existing designs based on feedback or project changes Ensure all designs comply with applicable industry codes and standards Prepare documentation, design reports, and Bill of Materials (BoM) Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 1- 4 years of relevant experience in design engineering, preferably in mechanical, fabrication, or oil & gas sectors- Proficiency in CAD tools (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) Knowledge of engineering codes and standards (ASME, BSEN etc.) Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy Good communication and teamwork abilities Interested candidates are encouraged to send their CVs to careers@acumensafety.com with the subject line Application Design Engineer” .
