Job Opportunity: Robotics ROS Developer (Robotics Systems Engineer) Location: Invengic Ventures Pvt. Ltd., Research Park – IIT Gandhinagar Type: Full-time (with Trainee → Probation → Full Employment pathway) Stipend: ₹8,000 / month Salary Range: ₹18,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on skills & performance). Role Overview We are looking for a ROS Developer to design and implement the navigation and AI stack for our autonomous robotic platforms. This role focuses on ROS-based control, mapping, and perception systems, with opportunities to expand into AI-powered computer vision and fleet management. Key Responsibilities Immediate Responsibilities Develop and deploy ROS nodes for navigation, sensor integration, and actuator control. Implement SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) for autonomous navigation in crowded environments. Integrate sensors (LIDAR, depth cameras, IMU, ultrasonic) with the robot’s control system. Design path planning, obstacle avoidance, and motion control algorithms. Work with embedded engineers to ensure hardware-software integration. Future Responsibilities Develop AI-based perception systems (object detection, crowd analysis, anomaly detection). Build multi-robot coordination and fleet management solutions. Implement cloud-based or remote robot monitoring dashboards. Optimize performance for large-scale deployment in public spaces. Candidate Requirements Strong experience with ROS (Robot Operating System) and robotic middleware. Proficiency in C++ and Python. Experience with SLAM, navigation, and control algorithms. Hands-on integration of LIDAR, camera, and IMU sensors. Knowledge of OpenCV, TensorFlow/PyTorch for vision systems (preferred). Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in robotics environments. Growth Path & Compensation Stage 1 – Training Phase Stipend: ₹8,000 / month Duration: 6 months trainee program focused on robotics projects. Stage 2 – Probation Period Duration: 2.5 months (post-training evaluation). Stage 3 – Full-Time Employment Salary Range: ₹18,000 – ₹35,000 per month (based on skills & performance).
