Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage mechanical system BIM models using Revit MEP and related BIM tools. Design and model HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems in accordance with project specifications and codes. Coordinate mechanical designs with architectural, structural, and other MEP disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions. Produce shop drawings, coordinated layouts, schedules, and BOQs directly from BIM models. Perform clash detection and participate in resolution meetings using Navisworks or similar software. Interpret design inputs from electrical engineers and translate them into coordinated BIM models. Generate electrical layouts, single-line diagrams, schedules, and other documentation from the model. Coordinate with architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines to resolve clashes and ensure design integration. Conduct clash detection using Navisworks and participate in coordination meetings. Maintain model accuracy in line with project updates, design revisions, and as-built conditions. Assist in developing and maintaining BIM standards, templates, and project-specific protocols.
