Lead NPD documentation activities (PPAP, APQP, DFMEA, PFMEA, Control Plans, SOPs, Process Flows). Study drawings, prepare BOMs, and coordinate with design (CAD) for 3D/2D modeling. Manage and monitor development of multiple components simultaneously. Ensure process repeatability and quality consistency in new product introduction. Work closely with Design, Tool Room, Production, and QA teams to ensure manufacturability. Drive customer interactions for NPD approvals, audits, and documentation compliance. Guide and mentor junior engineers on process documentation and quality methods . Analyze process gaps and implement continuous improvements for new product introduction. In-depth knowledge of sheet metal manufacturing processes, including press operations (Blanking, Bending, Piercing, Forming), welding techniques (such as spot welding, MIG welding, TIG welding), and assembly methods. Collaborate with customers for technical reviews, DAP approvals, and engineering changes. Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Production, Quality, Purchase) for smooth launch. Quality Assurance Tool Room Management: Manage tool design, development, and maintenance for press tools, welding fixtures, jigs, and gauges.
